Browser processing
Browser processing means the supported cleanup workflow can run locally in your browser. For supported small image files, this reduces upload exposure because the file does not need to leave your device for that workflow.
Cloud processing
Cloud processing is needed for larger files, PDFs, Office documents, ZIP archives, video, audio, and advanced verification that requires server-side tools. Temporary files should use short-lived storage and cleanup rules.
How to choose
Use browser mode when supported. Use cloud mode when the format or file size requires it. In both cases, verify the output before sharing.
